Terms of Service
Effective date: July 16, 2026. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the vucinc.com website (the “Site”) operated by Velocity Unified Communications Inc. (“VUC,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you purchase or use VUC communications services or devices, those services are governed by the Customer Terms and Conditions of Service, which control in the event of any conflict with these Terms as to the services.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its systems; interfere with the Site’s operation or security; use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or overload the Site (including the AI advisor, which is rate-limited); misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or upload malicious code.
2. Intellectual property
The Site and all of its content — text, graphics, logos, images, page designs, and software — are the property of VUC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. VUC’s corporate names, service marks, trademarks, trade names, logos, and domain names will at all times remain our exclusive property. You may view and print Site content for your internal business evaluation of VUC; any other use requires our prior written consent.
3. Forms, submissions, and communications
Information you submit through the Site (contact forms, sales inquiries, strategy session requests, and the Technology Readiness Assessment) is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting a form does not create a client relationship or a service commitment; appointments and engagements are confirmed personally by a VUC team member. By providing contact details you consent to VUC contacting you about your inquiry by email or phone, and by text message where you have opted in — SMS terms, including STOP/HELP instructions, are described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Technology Readiness Assessment and AI Solution Advisor
The assessment and the “Ask VUC” advisor are provided for general informational purposes. Their outputs are generated from your inputs and VUC’s published service information, are not a substitute for a professional evaluation of your environment, and may not reflect every detail of your situation. VUC makes no warranty as to the completeness or fitness of assessment results or advisor answers, and you should confirm any recommendation with a VUC specialist before acting on it. Do not enter confidential, account, or health information into the advisor.
5. Third-party links and portals
The Site links to third-party sites and services, including customer, payment, voice, and remote support portals and manufacturer resources. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. VUC is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. VUC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VUC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). LIABILITY RELATING TO VUC SERVICES IS GOVERNED BY THE CUSTOMER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VUC, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and you submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the State of Texas. Disputes relating to VUC communications services are subject to the arbitration provisions of the Customer Terms and Conditions of Service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective on the date posted to this page, and your continued use of the Site after posting constitutes acceptance. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
